WWA's 1st LAYOUT CONTEST
Would you like to design some layouts for WWA? Only YOU can change the face of the WWA.
~*~*~* WHAT IS THIS CONTEST? *~*~*~
This is everyone's chance to design the site's official CSS style layout! =D
(includes colors, backgrounds, fonts, & even graphics)
There will be two categories for this contest: the default layout and the extreme layout.
The winning extreme layouts will be featured and listed in the Tutorials for everyone to use in their profiles, and the winner's default layout will be displayed throughout WWA.
To enter, message James with your CSS code.
Rules:
The default layout must not require a large amount of computing power or bandwidth to load. However, extreme layouts can.
Signatures or links to credit the creator is allowed only for the extreme layout submissions.
For default layout creators, don't worry. We'll credit you with an image link on the main page.
WWA has the exclusive right to display the winner's default layout.
The winning default layout may be altered to fit the needs of WWA.
Please follow the Rules of Conduct.
There are no prizes. This is just for fun.
Also, don't use anything that is copyrighted.
HINT:
Try to make it something universal, that all members will like. This poll will be open to all WWA members, and will affect ALL current members' view of the site, as well as site visitors and prospective members... it should be eye-catching in a good way, and not too distracting.

Should it be private submissions? doing so would cut out the possibility of people taking and modifying other people's CSS.

That would insure a lack of cheating, so it would be good. Also, that way, any of the entries going against the Rules of Conduct just won't be shown, and when the deadline's met, maybe a poll would be the most sufficient way of showing them?

ok, i changed it. sure, we can have a poll, but only for the extreme layouts. i'll have judges for the default layout. i'll be one of the judges, and you can be one too, emmalyn, since you have the petition group. since you prefer dark colors, i nominate megi as the third judge. she likes light colors.
we should let the top 3 of the extreme layouts be the winners
