Emmalyn said… - Ohh college here in the US is actually an option... but it's becoming very pricey. They have several kinds now though:
1) University & College Campuses (generally 4yrs for a Bachelor's; 6+ yrs for a Master's or PhD, etc.)
2) Community Colleges or Technology Institutes (generally 2yrs for an Associate's Degree)
3) Online Colleges
4) Vocational Schools (for different trades)
Other than schooling, the other choices include:
1) being a bum & mooching off of your parents OR begging on the streets
2) inheriting a large amount of money to live off of for the rest of your life OR win the lottery
3) commit a crime & go to jail
4) get a job & live your life however you can manage
Jobs are becoming harder to find though with the economic issues, and the better paying ones usually don't give you a 2nd look if you don't have further education for what you're applying for... so in a way, you don't have much of a future if you don't go to college... that's the general outlook anyway.
As for driving, gasoline prices are inflating worldwide... kind of sucks... I can just imagine that it'll rise to $6 a gallon or liter or whatever in 2 years T____T at least until they deplete all of the sources & are forced to find an alternative... I'm not in too much of a rush because of the depressing outlook on how much money is spent on driving XD at least I can just walk to necessary places in the University I'm going to attend... but it's good you at least have a license & a car for the most important emergencies! I have a car, but no license ._____. lol

- Hahah =3 just giving it a rest before I start working on driving & whatnot >< as soon as I get my license, I'll be off to work... so I'm just going to enjoy this little bit of youth I have left =X how many subjects can you take per term anyway? I think it's required to take at least 5 every term in most colleges here

- This vacation is summer break =D & I'm out of high school forever now! Graduating in 2 days ^_^ Sorry it's taken so long to reply X3 I was trying to get all my grades in last week & this week has been focused on celebrating & relaxing =P
Aww that really bites about ur scholarship though =( at least u can always apply again! I'm sure u can do it! The layout of your school system isn't too far off from what u described, its pretty similar but a little shorter than here. I'm 18 by the way =3 it's a good year ^_^ so besides that scholarship, how have you been?

- lol yeh i live in New Jersey Bloomfield which the degree getz up to 110* in the summer..in the summer itz usually really really hot but abut the virus i hope it would be all ok someday too..
